I'm independent, headstrong and passionate. Well-read (but not as well as I'd like to be) and curious about the world. I love my people but not people in general. Crowds are not my thing. My coping mechanism is laughter, and I have been told I have a good sense of humour.
I was widowed some time ago. Hard as it was and is, life is forcing me to reinvent myself. I was, and still am, challenged daily to rediscover who I am when I am not part of couple. It's not an easy road, but it is interesting.
I'm ridiculously busy between a demanding job, being a single parent to 3 children, and also studying in between. I'm not looking for a serious relationship, or for someone to be a caretaker dad for my kids. I'm not looking for hookups either. What I'm looking for is friendship, maybe an activity partner, and if there is a spark and an emotional connection, the possibility of benefits.
